Materials

“Buttero” finish from the Walpier tannery. A member of the REAL ITALIAN VEGETABLE LEATHER CONSORTIUM, it was founded in 1974 in Ponte a Egola, Tuscany. Specializing in vegetable tanning, an ancestral process using tannins of plant origin, the tannery has more than 40 years of history.

Initially started by Ciampalini Gino, father of a current owner, the tradition has been continued by his son Valter and his nephew Michele. Thanks to their commitment to traditions and the environment, the Walpier brand is today internationally recognized for its guarantee, quality and authenticity.

Aging and patina

Buttero leather will naturally evolve with your use, slightly darkening its color and acquiring a subtle shine. This leather offers a smooth texture to the touch and perfect suppleness when worn, ideally balancing flexibility and resistance.
